WORK:

Prime contractor for all ROW activities for Tukwila and Airport Segments of Link Light Rail. Services were delivered below budget requiring no additional funding for additional contract for widening of Southcenter Boulevard and utility undergrounding. 

• 188 parcels acquired in fee; surface, subsurface, aerial, utility, environmental and construction easements.

• Negotiated permits and agreements with Cities of Tukwila, King County, Seattle and SeaTac, BNSF, WDNR, Port of Seattle and WSDOT.

• 7 City of Tukwila street vacations; property transfer agreement with Cascade Land Conservancy; SHPO clearance on historic properties.

• Subcontract procurement and management of title, environmental, appraisal and translation services. 

• Condemnation packages, notices, depositions, assist legal counsel during condemnation process.

Saved at-risk $500 million full funding grant by completing acquisitions by FHWA mandated deadline.
