PROJECT:

 

The City of Enumclaw received a nearly $1M federal grant to extend a multi-use path from its previous terminus to a public park located in town. Right of Way acquisition required oversight from the WSDOT Local Agency Coordinator and approval from FHWA.

 

WORK:

LaBonde provided a Project Funding Estimate for three parcels impacted by the initial design. After some resistance from private property owners during the Right of Entry phase, the design was modified to avoid two properties. LaBonde prepared the Administrative Offer Summary and successfully negotiated a Trail Easement in short order which finalized the most critical piece of ROW for the project thereby saving the "at risk" federal grant, which was soon set to expire.
